Art direction and design

My first typeface, inspired by gothic, blackletter and medieval typography styles. Each letter is created using a 6mm parallel pen at a 45º angle and vectorised with Illustrator. Entitled Pau, The First as a playful reference to the names given to medieval kings and in order to hero my first font. Downloaded by more than 11,000 people and used for Hold The Fort fantasy card game.
